Hasn’t set the world on fire last 3 games. Only noticed the mistake and penalty today, don’t think I’ll bother watching the game again to see if I missed anything good he did.

Hasn't kicked on, has been playing like a very average second rower for a while now.

Offers very little.

he hasn't been a disaster but he hasnt had much impact for a while. the SJ/ Nikora combo is null and void, it doesnt work anymore, but johnson passes left to Wade and he slices through go figure

his body gets absolutely smashed by the defense. is doing good and bad things out there, as i said not a write off but not consistenly very good either

almost open to trying someone else even just for a week or 2 see how they do if they can mix it up bring some more venom and steam. what we got to lose

Man that guy was a beast when he was on his game. Literally unstoppable.
your right unstoppable - could not stop him being a error prone cat

love Taga but he was off his game more than on and he was a bigger boy than Nikora

That's why I said when he was ON his game. For Taga 2015/16 were his good years. Nikora on the other hand isn't showing much to be honest, he does know how to find the tryline at times but not really a threat.

Was always worried about second year syndrome with him. He’s not the first player to get it and he won’t be the last. Just got to show patience and push through it, hopefully he’ll be better for it. There’s a very good second rower there, we just got to give it a chance to develop.

Always thought he was over-rated.

SJ talked him up and made him look good with their well executed play.

If you read back a bit i'm sure I said he needs to get more involved instead of sitting off johnsons hip. That statement still stands true.

He has potential but is either too lazy or too dumb to know how to use it.

As HB tried to say, second year syndrome hit in the second half of last year.
Runs one line really well and teams have caught on, has no (effective) variation and no other elements to his game. Doesn't have the power to make an impact when his line isn't on - needs to get heavier and stronger and mix things up a bit.
Yes, Graham is same height & weight roughly but he can run, pass, kick, hit

Should start Talakai at second row over him, he looked good in his run the other week. Probably doesn't have the fitness to run out a full game there so Nikora can maybe hold a bench spot

Fifita Woods // BHU Williams
Graham Talakai // Nikora
Rudolf // Sorensen

Probably would be more realistic to start Nikora and bring on Talakai though, in which case you'd maybe put Talakai at lock and Sorensen at second row?

If he was up to it I think this would be even better

Fifita Woods // BHU Hunt
Graham Talakai // Sorensen
Rudolf // Williams

I hate that every time I type Fifita into a proposed lineup I cringe because I know he shouldn't still be playing

Page 24, August 2019.

Its all been said before.

Exactly.. Nikora has been sht for a while. Literally offers nothing, provides no impact what so ever. He’s also probably another one of the John Morris players he won’t move.

This is a massive part of our problem imo. No impact, no aggression.

We can't carry guys like this.
