It is funny having people that never played a game tell you how a game should be played.

Backrowers can prefer a side of the field but there is absolutely nothing to stop them for coming in for a hit up.

The game went into golden point and he had what 4 runs did someone say?

Come in and take a run to take some load off the props.

Mate, I never told you how the game should be played. You’re putting words into my mouth.
You are not out there on the field.

How do you know the plays they are running?

Johnson pulls out late and to me it’s perfectly reasonable that a decision is made to play left the majority of the time.

Senior players tell you to stick to the game plan and that’s what you do.

Can’t know that sort of stuff can we, could be the case.

From a spectators point of view I understand why we played away from him but would have liked to see him come in for some work. If I was him I would have wanted to go in for a run or two.

If he was expected to stick to structure fair enough I guess.

He wasn’t getting passed the ball much Snow is right.. but Illmac is right too Nikora should’ve gone looking for it at times.

In Nikora’s defense he was involved doing a lot of tackling in field and making important tackles at that.

Don’t forget that game would’ve been the hardest game the youngsters (Xerri,Nikora) have played this year, both teams were out on their feet. Everyone will be better for the run

And if we'd managed to convert at least one try this discussion wouldn't be happening, nor would a lot of the other finger pointing be going on.

Our goal kickers are the ones that have let us down the most.

that was his best game in a while. brought heaps of energy and urgency.

losing count of how many times he gets dumped to the ground off a short ball though ha. but when it works it's try time. he's like another centre out there with his pace and footwork

Funny that the ball went his way this week

That was tactical ...

Luke Brooks defending on that side. Ryan Matterson on the other. They went after Brooks early and then Matterson in the ten minute stints before after half time. Once Matterson was replaced (hooked?) the Sharks went back the other way again.

wasn't given a stack of ball, not an issue. not every player can carve up and have a touch a set every week. prob didnt look for the ball that much either. if injured then that didnt help. the effectiveness of that johnson nikora combo started drying up mid way though last season anyway, especially as teams got wise to him. Nikora should find some new lines and plays to run in time

Johnson found some good rythm with those cutouts to katoa and passes out the back to Kennedy
