Was fall guys, but now Phasmophobia with Ikuvalu haha
I played fall guys the other week for the first time. It’s a good laugh. Simple, so everyone is a chance of winning for the most part.

Uncle Nick should really look into streaming for his off-shore payments to players. Nothing like a sneaky 40k donation for a win

I love all our props. They're all playing great!!
Agreed. Early season worries about the size and impact of our forwards has really started to relieve with guys like Uele and Rudolph starting to mature.
props really do come into thier prime in those late 20's. Uele has gone to a new dominant level this last season and a half.
real promising signs with Kaufusi coming in next season at just 22, huge growth to come from him. plus blokes like Williams and Hunt.
its a primed pack for a few seasons!

Kaufusi is below average.

Parra loses momentum every time he comes on (Paulo coming off doesn’t help) however would of definitely preferred Niukore.

Would be disappointed is Kaufusi is in the top 17. Would def prefer see the juniors like Hazelton given a shot before him.

I think ‘every time ‘ is harsh - he has been good on many occasions that I have seen .

And if Fitz sees a player there - I am all in …

Half of us were ready to put Trindall out on the lawn with a 'free to good home' sign pinned to his jersey, but they've found a way to polish him up and show some serious improvement. Based on that I'm willing to give the team the benefit of the doubt around signings.

How much did we say he was signed for?

I think that is compounded by how far behind Paulo and RCG Kaufusi is, which is not unreasonable as they are very strong veteran props. He can be quite inconsistent with games where he doesn't have much impact but so can they tbh. It's a key part of Parra

Niukore and Kaufusi actually debuted in same year, Niukore has played 90 NRL games and Kaufusi 66 but Niukore is also 3 years older.
In fact Kaufusi is actually around 6 months younger than Hazelton even.
Briton is 2 years older than Kaufusi but debuted the year after and played 81 NRL games.

So while he hasn't been in NRL as much as some of these other guys he's really being viewed as a prospect at a young age.

Yeah I'm excited for Kaufusi to join. At 23, he has done a decent apprenticeship behind two of the better props in the game. Specifically behind Paulo who is the kind of player we'd be looking for him to emulate I guess (big body, limited minutes). He's 115kg and 6ft2.

The best part is he's no walk up start in the 17, so he'll have to be hungry and willing to fight to reach that next level. Who know's what he could become.

If we're really paying Oregon 400k per season I hope he turns out better than a prospect.

Wow….

If we are paying 400k then we are paying massive overs…. Tolman is way ahead. Yes he is older and getting older, however going off this years form Tolman is streaks ahead.

I have been watching Kaufusi closely every game since he signed and have never seen anything that has surprised me or made me happy he has signed…….

Anyway hope to be wrong, however people that are excited he has signed…. I just don’t see what they see, he is proper slow motion.

Wow different opinions I guess. I've been really impressed with Kaufusi this year. Runs hard, puts pressure on the opposition kickers, decent defence.

Yeah looking forward to Kaufusi joining. And I’ll be shocked he’s not in the 17. We signed him a year in advance.

His junior pedigree he made all the rep teams.

He’ll be a good pick up imo

Daily Telegraph said 3 year deal believed to be 1.2 million. Who knows though.

Runs hard???? Are you sure you are talking about Oregon Kaufusi??? Defense is well and truly his “strength”.

He basically only ever takes take 3rd or 4th hitup after Niukore and other 2nd rowers etc.

Never 1st or 2nd hit ups….each to there own but I really wouldn’t be calling hit ups his strength

Lets give him 2023 before we make him Official Whipping Boy status

Sharks coaching staff have done wonder with our forwards in 2022 so wouldn't surprise we with a bit of time (or even off the bat) to see Kaufusi play better than what he has at Parra. Not worried overly if he takes another young Sharks forward place as that means he is playing well and showing Fitz enough to get his backing in FG - even though I really like Jesse C, Hazleton ect.

If Fifs and Tolz arn't here and depending when Jack Williams is back in team there could be a number of spots up for grabs regardless
