He is going to be some player.

It is staggering how much he is progressing every week

Was there any indication why he came off with 2 minutes left?
Hopefully just precautionary or to use last interchange but wanted to get forwards minutes up

Pulled in those short kicks nicely now!

yes that was the most pleasing aspect getting the weight right on those. big difference between a repeat set and giving the opposition a 7 tackle restart
he really kept the pressure on Manly this way and did everything at pace

he also threw alot more short passes off the ruck to a charging forward which is something we talked about during the week. there was alot of this in the first half, looked like a coaching/gameplan thing and it was effective - not just at generating go forward but giving our attack a different shape and less predictable than spreading it wide straight away or throwing the inside ball for a settler

was good to see us change things up and try something else

very good game from Blayke, played a massive role in that win

Yes the fact that he took some kicking duties is definitely a bonus.

he was good tonight;

can't wait to see him break in one of those runs of his.

there was once deep on our line. manly line was not switched on and deep...he could of ran and got a solid 20m run but he throws ball back to winger and we make only a few metres.
his vision is usually good I thought. maybe I'm expecting the damien cook type runs too much

Told ya we gotta play through him with big bodies in motion. The more options you give this kid the better he'll be.

In your head, rent free
he has so many tricks to his arsenal in terms of running, service, kicking and defence

last night was the first time he put it all into motion

for mine, he was the best player on the park as he controlled the game and was rewarded with a try to cap off his performance

For us super coaches who have kept him we will get a little increase in value plus a very low BE to cash again next week.

It was nice to see him kicking alot more. He always had a good boot, so glad he's doing it more. Not sure if it was a ploy for this game, or confidence issue but he defn needs to keep his kicking license.

Such a threat when you know your hooker has a kicking game.

Service is ****ing excellent too.

Very impressed with him.

Gave him my three points against the dogs and was worth that again yesterday but I thought SJ and Toby just shaded him.

Looks like he can easily play 80 mins which is great. And if he does go off late, Chad can slot into 9.

Hope so but with how the business is now, no one can ever make that call. One club players are getting rarer and rarer.
