Developing very very nicely. Actually offers some attack around the ruck.

Additionally his defence is improving out of sight. 40 plus tackles tonight.

Such a step up on what we have had in the 9

Credit where it's due, the club made the right call on this one even after Blayke had a fairly crummy 2019 from the bench

passing, running, tackling - Blayke is going well

Needs more options from dummy half. Nothing fancy just a genuine short and long option forward every ruck where theres no set play on. Just like Toby almost in Brail's pocket and Uele running about 1-2m outside him. Both flat hitting the advantage line. If Brails can get a step or 2 out and engage the marker there is lots of real estate back in behind the markers. Even if its stand & pass it it'll get momentum.

Storm do this well with NAS and Tino - obviously their dummyhalf is a bit of alright too. The other I noticed is Tigers with Smith protege Grant with Aloiai(?) or Luciano running off his right hip and someone else just a little wider. If the DH gets the markers and the wider defenders hold on that wider man the short option gets a good run at an isolated man and covering defense.

I know whose getting the ball from every single pass we throw from DH, let alone which side its going. We need bodies in motion, options either side of the ruck. Again doesn't even need to be fancy, just a few players running and ready left and right.

Our side and style doesn't fit 2020 NRL. Can't change the squad so gotta change the style and utilize what we got the best we can. Big ****ers rolling through the middle giving Brailey options. We play off him to get in shooting range then SJ, Moyza, Chad can put on the plays, otherwise kick high and long and kick chase.

None of this is criticism of Brailey. Those little changes would unleash a little beast.

It was against a slowed paced bulldogs game. Doubt he could handle a full 80
Against the roosters/ rabbits etc....

Huh?

He's played 80 mins 4 times this year. One of those against the Rabbits in Rd 1. Let me guess insert new faster game comment here ?

He can play 80 against any competition and is one of the fittest at the club.

he has been mixing it up on which side of the ruck he is going to play with those dummies left or right at the ruck then shifts it the other way similar to how Ennis used to if not with a little less subtlety and poise. if you are predicting those shifts buy a lottery ticket mate.

Agree with more forwards running off him. our forwards do it with our halves but giving our dummy half some more options and support will make him more effective. At the moment his only real 2 plays are pass it (short to a forward or out back and wider to a half) or run it himself. Some decoys should open up more chances for line break assists and kicks behind the line (when he finds some comfortable boots...)

he doesn't really looked gassed when he has been subbed out for Tracey ect when we have played the likes of Souths, Storm ect
I think the coach has even said something along the lines of Brailey is good for 80 but he just wants to not push it and have more options in the form of a relief utility

When only 1 side is really moving the dummy doesn't really sell me.

He has so much talent coming out of his ass.

Can’t believe how good he is and that he’s ours.

dummy is only as good as the dummies falling for it
he should get better as his forwards learn his game, too many players just waiting for a pass from dummy half or for brailey to run forward. more runners around the ruck is called for

his brother showed some improvement in his second season but then stagnated
I don't see that with younger Brails. I think he will continue to develop and at a faster rate as long as the support is around him on and off the field
