yea Connor was there for cover at hooker but I don't recall seeing him go in there really. was planted out wide in the centres most of the time

all our players look much fitter and conditioned so there is no reason Blayke hasn't developed more stamina and endurance in the off season. if tonight is a sign he has been working hard on his game in the off season as he wasn't that impressive in 2019 after looking amazing in NSW Cup

There were 2 passes in particular that caught my eye. Both switched the direction of play and were masked behind one of our standing players. One was caught, the other was dropped I think. Both brilliant.

Saw a bit of the Newy game, Jayden had some decent runs. Actually got a penalty out of one, how many times for us did he run into someone offside for no whistle....

But his crap passing right slowed down their attack and I thought a couple could have been called forward.

yep blayke's service and passing instantly stands out over his older bro. breath of fresh air. so much more direct and accurate and that benefits the entire team, especially the forwards and halves

jayden worked hard but his passing around the ruck really held us back, won't miss him

if we win a lot of forward battles and contact he will thrive
