Next, burg will show us some gifs trying to show us how fantastic Chad Townsend and Matt Moylan are.

Brailey is an average 9, it doesn’t take charts and graphs to tell you that or otherwise

He can play much better than he has been lately, no need to overcomplicate it
Too one dimensional lately

what do you want him do in these situations, all of those were perfect dummy half play. picks ball up engages markers and passes to a playmaker in a better situation, leading to half breaks
I don’t know man, maybe make a play that can change the momentum of the game every now and then would be nice. Change it up and keep the opposition guessing, not so many crash plays, rough up his opposition 9, show some character, kick short in the red zone . anything, something

Bloke touches the ball more then anyone else on the team and he’s hardly noticeable half the game, he’s our most experienced player in the spine.

Has he hit his ceiling already or is he just not being challenged and happy to play as it comes

Huge fan of Brailey, but this is the question that deserves to be considered. Problem is we can only speculate, which will lead us unfortunately nowhere.

I do feel that he can lack the killer instinct for picking the weaknesses in the opposition team (e.g. tired defenders), and then hammering them.

There were instances on Friday night where it was crying out for a short-side play for Talakai/Mulitalo, but he tends to just do what's expected.

I realise this is very subjective assessment, and also that he needs to stick to the game plan and percentage football.

Hopefully with a less dominant halfback he will look up a bit more himself.

Hoping he'll step up, think he'll play a bit more eyes up footy and wont worry as much looking for Nicho.
But if he doesnt for the rest of the season, start looking at two dummy half system next year.

Likely a very poor strategy for the coming weeks.

Amazing how much our team looks when this lad is bringing the forwards onto the ball
He just adds to the frustration we have with his game. He can do really well then go back to just shovelling the pill.

Like the whole team really. He could be top tier if he continues to play like this. Obviously easy to play on the front foot with forwards rolling but he has a big influence on this.

Agreed mate, he has a bearing on that. It's just a frustrating team at the moment

That’s the game we want from this guy.
Hopefully with Nicho out, he accepts that he needs to step up like tonight
