Did a quick search on youtube for some footage but came up with the doughnut. If anyone can find some it would be greatly appreciated.

PS: A.Snowden....real footage :glasses-cool:

Search for 2014 u20s state of origin, there's a full replay up. He's in 13 for NSW.

If we are targeting him to fill a centre spot in the long run, we must have other plans in the works as far as back row recruitment goes. We are very light in that department with youth talent. Who do you guys think we should target in that area?

Dragons forum blowing up - Delux.
Centre or in the halves ? George will say fullback BUT that would be a hear gig to crack , with Holmes and Gordon in the squad.
I wonder who the others signings are that are going to be announced soon ?

Have you seen much of him? What are his strengths?

I watched him play in the Saints vs Newcastle semi last weekend. He was playing in the centres, usual backrower in 20s. He made a run back in field with a nice grubber and score himself. Was a nice play, and that game was probably the better of the 20s games last week. I havent seen much of him myself, but all game the commentators raved about him.

All in all, good signing. could be a centre come back rower.

Did the "Morris to the bulldogs" story happen inbetween the rumour that we had missed out and now? Might have played a role. Maybe birds money is going to the save Morris fund.
Anyway who cares. Very exciting to see guys like brown, Holmes, Gagan and now bird playing and hopefully developing next year.

It's a nice problem to have - multiple backline prospects coming through plus decent competition. Now we just need some decent halves !

Dangerous if they are allowed to run with scissors!

Seriously though, I think we might be almost assembling a reasonable back line. At least there is some potential. We'll see though.

Yeah, while recruitment is heading in the right direction ideologically speaking, let's not forget
  1. Flanno presumably has no input on these matters at this stage, and strategies may therefore change when he is in a capacity to act on these matters.
  2. When Flanno comes back, as some have already suggested, it is likely that he will not have learned anything while away, and will most like have both Ashford and Mitch Brown in the backline.
  3. Bird is in the same division as Holmes, and will take time to be a regular in our run-on squad.

Sign a young bloke and people start putting him in team lists lolol

You're not wrong A. Snowden, our forum does get a tad premature.
I'm waiting for Gando , as 3/4 of his posts are made up of team lists whether based on rumored or signed Cronulla players .
Not that I mind Gando , personally I find it pretty amusing . Doesn't hurt to dream and try to see best possible scenarios .
