back on benji... do we move robbo to hooker, or benji to fullback, flash to the wing, and feki to the centres?

Benji to 5/8, Carney to 7, robbo to 14 (Liicha 9), Gordon to wing with V Holmes to fullback and feki to centre to replace gayshford

robbo to hooker.

2015 you could see him as hooker with brown?

there isnt really a place for benji this season IMO, we need Lichaa more than degois, marshall could see a robson/morris combo haha

Lichaa was sucking the big ones against the roosters. He is way off playing more than 20 minute stints

WE could always play the Marshmonster at 1. But I doubt we'll do that.

It would be nice to give him the option of coming into the attack when he sees something, while leaving Robbo to steer the team. He could also do a bit of the general kicking from fullback.

agreed, thats what i would do

benji at fullback, gordon on the wing, fek at centre, rids us of ayshford

I couldn't see Marshall being successful at fullback. In attack yeah but I think he would be a liability in defence.

kicks would be fine

and if you are worrying about your fullback making a 1 on 1 tackle

worry about the 12 ****s that missed him first

Stats from the weekend on a quick look and most teams fullbacks didn't make double digit tackles. In fact a lot only made 3 or 4 tackles.

Still think this is the best option with benji

1. Gordon
6. Carney
7. Marshall
9. Robson/Lichaa/Morris

Agree.

Part of the reason why I think it would work better for us is so that we don't have another liability in the line.

I think those 1 on 1 type tackles would be easier for guys like Benji anyway. He's so quick off the mark and can shut down the open space relatively effectively. He can also tackle low and get the ball runner down quicker. He wouldn't have to go high to try and wrap up the ball like like he would defending the line.

And if someone makes a break and they have support it's near impossible for the fullback to do anything anyway.

Sometimes the only option is to just force the runner to pass the ball and hope that it gets dropped.
