Hopefully you will see Val Holmes in first grade soon too.

YEAH! What a great young player. And this kid has said the cowboys weren't interested in him so he went south. I hope that he remembers that and resists any temptations later in his career to go home. And he stays a shark forever. No pun intended. No doubt the Broncos know he's Maroon and will target him in 2018 if he's develloping well. Don't get me started on them lol.

Holmes will struggle at first like all players do but you just manage him - TVS is a fullback through and through but is not ready to do it 80 minutes 30 games in a year so he plays wing and swaps with mini throughout the game.

We should do the same with Holmes I think. A year of that and he will have learnt a great deal and will probably be ready to step up full time.

I think a nice comparison would be with someone like Kurtis Rowe, another rookie fullback took a few games to feel comfortable in top grade, however played a couple of solid games just before Teddy came back - Holmes is a better player than Rowe, so hopefully doesn't take too long...

Good young player, from what I have seen he seems to be nippy, my only concerns are he seems to be always looking "rushed" & lacks composure, maybe that will change with confience & more FG but when I am looking at young halves I always look at how much time they appear to have & what their composure is like.

Jury still out for me on whether he will be anything more than a solid FG player.
