Got another year hasn't he?

Yes he does and he will start as 7. He will be seen as providing the experience to guide Hampton. Brown won't be seen as ready to run the team from 7 and is likely to be bench utility.

As far as I am concerned, if 14 says it's done...it's done.

Thanks 14

Now hopefully we put Hampton/Brown Combo in. I think all round there is a lot more skill there then the Robson/Carney.

As interesting as a young-upcoming-halves-combo sounds for next season, being the Sharks, it seems more likely that Robson will still be halfback next season...

Maybe not over the 100 but he is explosive off the mark and for a small bloke is very powerful and can break a tackle.

Well even if he doesn't work out in the halves we can always use pace somewhere in the team

It says on his profile on Storm website that he can also play fullback, he'll be a good utility signing in my books

I hate this "if true" ****
Ben Hampton has signed with the Cronulla Sharks for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
Its true.
Now talk about it.
Stop being ****ing typical sceptical sharks supporters.

Maybe, just maybe it has something to do with your ****ty strike rate, you internet rep whore.

That's the thing, the guys a GREAT fullback.

Hampton was one of the major reasons (with Finch) we went undefeated for so long in NSW Cup last year.

I'm a massive Hampton fan, if we sign him I'll have a new favourite player.

**** signing. He's a great fullback and a awfully terrible five-eight.

No way we bought him to play fullback, even tho he can .He was the under 20s QLD Rep half . Heaps of pace still finding his feet in first grade .Watch youtube clip him and Barba. He has great potential and could be eventually be like Hunt , in regards to young with vision

Really good news. I'm seriously forgetting about Carney already. There's a lot of talent developing and coming into the squad, and I'm glad they're getting a chance ahead of disruptive bogans.

Well I'm stoked about Benny Hampton!! Comes from 5 minutes down the road here at Mareeba. Hopefully now I'll see some sharkies jerseys getting around the far north instead of just Storm and Cowboys ones. And just maybe I won't get looked at as badly for mine. Lol.
Coincidently with the talk of Andrew Duneman becoming a fill in Sharks coach and then an assistant to Flanagan, you may find they actually will know a bit about one another. Ben is from the Northern Pride devellopment program from when he played for Mareeeba as a youngster and Duneman was Pride coach and often appeared to watch over devellopment squads. He's just another kid from up here the ******** cowboys let go (thankfully) . And this time to my sharkies eventually yee haa.
