Ok I change my "he was crap" response to the above as he did do some good things throughout the rest of the game but he is no threat in attack like Feki

Not dissing your full post - but yeah, I agree with this.

Beau Ryan walked out of Remondis Stadium on Saturday night knowing he had possibly played his last game

The Sharks winger suffered a recurrence of a neck injury that required off-season surgery against his old club Wests Tigers.

X-rays over the next few days will determine his future but the Sharks are fearing the worst.

The 29-year-old winger has struggled and looked timid in his handful of appearances for the club this season.

Obviously the injury has been playing on his mind.

No one wants to see the popular Footy Show star finish his career in NSW Cup.

No one wants him to hang around and keep a younger more promising player out of the team.

I have a feeling Ryan was close to announcing his retirement earlier this year.

He only kept going because of the possibility of more ASADA drama and the fact he could help out, at least in a marketing capacity.

With a huge television career in front of him, Beau knows the risk of serious injury is not worth it.

He will be remembered as a fine winger. Not a champion, but an honest, flashy player who could always hold his own against more fancied opponents.

**** that is bad news. I love Beau. His reaction after the Cowboys game last year sticks out in my mind.

Hmm, he has a "feeling". What is this? A Black Eyed Peas song?

Buzz might have a point but from his point of view, it is all speculation.

Lets hope its his last game, no more sprinting in from the wing to high five guy's in front of the camera, he has shown in the pas,t before his current injury he hasn't got much ticker when its hard, eg (sonny bill tackle), and lets hope he's lost to the game forever another out and out wanker with very little talent but a massive opinion of himself.

Feel sorry for the bloke, always tries his heart out. And whilst people say he may have limited skill, he's a solid player.

Anyone who has paid close attention to him since his return however would not be surprised if this is indeed his last year. He has looked incredibly uncomfortable and not confident in his body since his return.

Don't be to down hearted people, the imbo's in charge of recruitment will probably give him the job as defensive coach when he's retired, or maybe we should keep him in an advisory role, he can go into the sheds at half time and high five all the players, and then do something stupid in front of the fox cameras. Absolute GUMBY.

You can bag the Bloke for being media savvy, be he gave us the only positive media coverage we have had for the last 17 months while we have been drowning in this ASADA crap. He is always positive on and off the field and played well last season, probably being our best winger.

If he has played his last game, then I wish him the best and say thank you for all his hard work as I think he has already paid for his signing. Your talk is not only disingenuous but down right disrespectful on a bloke who has only done positive things for the Sharks.

Pull your head in!

Step away from the keyboard your embarrassing yourself... Beau would be the 1st to put his hand up and admitt he ain't no world beater, as it's been said on here before it isn't his fault he is the 1st winger picked we haven't got many keeping him out.. Rekon he has made good with wot god gave him, hope we keep him as a sharks ambassador if he is broken..

Very disappointing for Beau if true, you don't mess around with bad necks and plenty have had to retire early because of it Joey, Tallis and Nathan Brown to name a few so I for one will not bag the guy if he calls it quits.

We can take a positive out of it and fill his spot in the top 25 with Holmes and give him so FG games, our season is done so lets blood him.
