Awesome to have him onboard. Of course he would get emotional about leaving his mates at the club. As he said he would be spending more time with them then anyone.

Oh well, I have no doubt he will enjoy Cronulla with guys such as Bryce, Fifita, Graham, Carney etc.

Who knows Benji is on the market for 2014 isnt he.........

Finally it has been made official! Obviously it is heartbreaking for Beau to leave his mates at the Tigers but at the end of the day if he wasn't wanted there I'm more then happy to have him at the Sharks! I love how he said Flannagan wanted him there and he could tell he was geniune. It sounded like the Tigers stuffed him around.

"First of all Bryce is one of the biggest lunatics I know" hahahaha!

Watching him in that interview really made me want to go round 1 at shark park and get behind him and the boys.

I like the way the Sharks have kept quiet about the Ryan and Heighton signings, No back page stories "how we took them"

No need to rub it in the face of the Tigers and other club supporters, Flano and Mooney have just gone on with the job chasing and talking to
players and managers I'm sure Gallen, Gibbs etc... would have had a say.

What ever the date they are released from the Tigers there will be plenty of pix in their Sharks training gear.
Bring on 2013.

Gotta agree!
Watching that interview and hearing he's doing another deal with channel 9 and met Gyngell gives me wood. He has the character to attract an audience ! If he can string some on field performances together with his TV personality he'll bring numbers threw the gate- no doubt about it! .... It's on next year guys! We've recruited the right guys for the right reasons ( they all feel like they have been hard done by- by there current club, and all feel wanted at cronulla!!! Look how Gibbs and Fifita have performed - now Lewis, Gordon, Ryan and Heighington all feel the Same way and are as keen as F...k to be here!!!!! Bring it on

If we get a home match first game it will be a sell out
Given we had an away game this year I am hoping we will get home game against the tigers or panthers this time. I can see nine being behind it...

While we are on the subject of channel nine and sponsorship, I read this the other day and pretty much ssums up our season in the way of coverage:

"With the NRL to have a fixed 20 round season schedule over the next five years, perhaps it has come at a good time following this year’s schedule.

This season Brisbane had a whopping 18 Friday night games, with their nearest rivals being Canterbury and St. George-Illawarra, whose total of ten includes the Thursday night season opener.

Cronulla was last with one Friday match, which of course was against the Broncos. The Warriors, Roosters and Panthers only had two matches on Friday nights.

Brisbane playing three quarters of their season on Friday certainly gives them an advantage in regards to the same routine with the same seven-day turnaround, while majority of the comp can have inconsistent turnarounds of seven days, nine days, six days, ten days, five days – basically all over the place. This does balance itself out though when Origin comes around and the Broncos get hurt with players backing up................"

That TV stuff is what my Dad and I have been saying for ages now. Disgraceful. Maybe now that we have Beau that may attract some more games but I doubt it.
