I probably agree with you, but this years jersey has barba in it, they put ennis in it and it will replace the ****ing queen mate

That jersey looks a bit of a mess, should have put the blue in the middle and had less white. It is quite a change from last year's traditional style. In saying that, I don't mind it and I'm warming to it. I'm glad we've gone for a different jersey as well, as great as 2014's one was.

Yeah, I think the 9s is a good chance to put out some "out there" kind of merch. Would be kind of pointless to have the same again (even though I loved the last one). i wouldn't mind seeing a version of last years 9s jersey as our away strip.

Agree with you there. I think last years 9's jersey could be an away for us now that we aren't using it again. Because if we did use it as an alternate kit, it would devalue using it in the 9's. I don't think it would have that much contrast from the home jersey though.

Agree. I'd also like to see the new Todd, Gards, Gagan, (Stanley?), Taga.

I'd probably avoid sending anyone who played in the 4 Nations, just so they can get that extra rest (Beale if we get him, Taga, Leutele and Penani)

Of course, the prize money that comes with it would be one thing.

But to start the year fresh, having won our first meaningful tournament in forever would send a huge message to the rest of the competition.

2014 was a complete write off as far as everyone here is concerned. Would be great to project that message out into the media and make them choke on their slander.

Absolutely. Part of establishing a winning culture is going into every game, every tournament to win at all costs, not just 'use it for squad development'. In order to do that, we send a lot of our stars to this tournament.
