Feki is almost the perfect sidekick winger. The problem people bring up in regards to polishing off try chances is that i find he doesnt have the ball control ability to stretch out an arm and then leap like most of the modern day wingers do as an art form. Most cases that i recall hes tucking the ball under his arm and very rarely does it get out of there. His Defensive and attacking leaping he is pretty solid it just that ability to back himself to dive and stretch out an arm that sees him instead run it out.
Also is he right handed? I dont think he carries much in his left which would help also to fend with his right before the line. These are what makes the likes of Bird, Val and even Gagan such good players out wide.

Watch him play the ball and you'll understand why.

Every single time he plays the ball he has to switch hands from the hand he carried it in to play it.

That's how bad it is.

Do you mean that he's right handed which means that's his best fend? Carries the ball on his left closest to the touch line and pushes off defenders with his strongest arm?

Does he play the ball with his right leg as well? From when I was playing high school footy it seemed natural to hold the ball on the same side as the leg that played it.

too too linear for a first grade winger in the modern game..competent nontheless.
multi dimensional flyers from the likes of samoa & fiji to name a few should be the priorities going forward..

thats the problem, we rate a very ordinary, one dimensional winger highly, when he is a fringe first grader at best
I disagree, to me those sorts of back up players are the mitch browns, jono wrights and joel reddys etc. He's obviously not on the level of someone like brett morris but to me he's quite a good player and has a lot of good points to his game.

Just my opinion of course

He's a solid squad player. I don't dislike him a player he's a hard worker and reliable to a degree, but i won't over rate him either.

But as a winger his skill set is fairly limited when compared with the upper tier players. Strong early set hit ups (his biggest asset), a bit of speed + carries defenders in tackles. Painfully slow play the balls however due to his transition of the ball from the hand he is carrying to his opposite hand when playing it, watch it and you'll see what i mean, i can't explain it well enough in words.

I think he's pretty average under the high ball both in defense and attack. I think his general handling is average, although he's no Pomeroy.

His finishing ability is ok, without being poor and certainly without being terrific.

He is a flanno favourite and has been mentioned as 'one of the youth stars' that we have to build the team around. That sort of commentary is reserved for a better player than his quality in my mind.
