I disagree, to me those sorts of back up players are the mitch browns, jono wrights and joel reddys etc. He's obviously not on the level of someone like brett morris but to me he's quite a good player and has a lot of good points to his game.

Just my opinion of course

I agree but i think what snowmans point is that the club are satisfied with feki and dont see a need to replace him, when there are plenty of better players we could have signed or should sign to play ahead of him.

We need to stop settling on 6/10s an start attempting to improve our positions.

Look at some of the players we have in our squad and what their salaries would be as well. Gallen fifita barba lewis maloney ennis bird just to name a few, we can't have barcelona's first team players in every position

It is nice to be the best team we could possibly be, but it is important to remember we have a salary cap and thus if we want to improve on certain positions, we need to accept that we would need a few 6/10 players to fill out our squad.

We arguably have that better player to fill his position in Gagan, he just hasn't stayed fit enough to challenge for the spot. If he can string together 6 weeks and play well I'd like to see him take Feki's spot. However if Feki is the weakest link in our squad we should well and truly be top 4 and challenging for the premiership.

He's a solid squad player. I don't dislike him a player he's a hard worker and reliable to a degree, but i won't over rate him either.

But as a winger his skill set is fairly limited when compared with the upper tier players. Strong early set hit ups (his biggest asset), a bit of speed + carries defenders in tackles. Painfully slow play the balls however due to his transition of the ball from the hand he is carrying to his opposite hand when playing it, watch it and you'll see what i mean, i can't explain it well enough in words.

I think he's pretty average under the high ball both in defense and attack. I think his general handling is average, although he's no Pomeroy.

His finishing ability is ok, without being poor and certainly without being terrific.

He is a flanno favourite and has been mentioned as 'one of the youth stars' that we have to build the team around. That sort of commentary is reserved for a better player than his quality in my mind.
I think this is a good assessment of him as a player. I've always regarded him as a one trick pony, however with smallish backs (but very silky) we need his power for now. To have Gagan be able to perform the power role would be fantastic as he appeared to have it all in those games he managed to play the year before last.

I know that mate, i just think all teams should be considering ways to better our squad. Not just settle on a guy who is above average

You know what... down 28-0 i'd probably put the ball into touch as well. Play less minutes of a game overall when getting ****ed.

I play wogball... remember once being down to 8 players.... played the whole game in our half, second half our kick off... just put a touch finder in from the get go and played about 30 seconds of the game up their end. Was the happiest i felt all game.

To be fair egg, a YouTube highlights page could make ben pomeroy look capable though.

True ,
But I can imagine reading the past Match Posts over the years and there would NOT be many negative Feki posts , in fact you would read a whole lot of FEKI !!! when he has actually done some quite extraordinary stuff .
Then you read this one dimensional and average winger crap , you just wonder what more is expected . A half should be multidimensional , a winger isn't always afforded that luxury.
He isn't that far away from the top echelon and would not let any rep team down ( could of easilty surpasses Boyd's efforts in QLD Origin team if was eligible ). Also at aged 24 will be approaching his prime with many good games left in the tank .
My tip IS that he WILL put egg on the faces of the knockers THIS year .

He will be his same relatively reliable self.

Can't see him going to any new levels.
