Apparently on the other site LU there's a guy on their CB4 who is close to the team that reckons we're not even intersted in Roberts which to me is stupid. On 2SM Tunks thinks that Manly will go after him if they off load Hiku. They must have an unlimited salary cap since Bozo started running the show again.

Seriously it shows that we really don't want to over achieve & make a GF when this kind of talent is available and we ignore it. I'm pissed off because as a paying member & supporter for over 35 years I want to see a fricken premership, we all deserve that FLANNO.

Maybe the club doesn't have as much cap space as we all think they do? How would any of us know? We're just fans, we don't see the books. Something to consider, or maybe there is some room and Bird's rich new deal might eat up a massive chunk of it? I dunno, just some thoughts.

I'm happy too, but he's the centre of the year. He improves every team in the comp if he signs with them. He should be receiving offers from every single club this week.

In the release presser, the Gold Coast more than strongly hinted at the extra support the club needed to give to Roberts, could have been similar to us with Fergo.

Whoever ends up with him may need to take some extra care keeping him focussed.

Honestly, if we signed Roberts and he doesn't get you erect you should probably follow another sport. The bit of play at 4:55 is mind blowing....that pass!!!

The sheer speed of the bloke is crazy. To stop, turn and chase down Edrick Lee after giving him 2-3m start, and then to burn Radradra with ease.

It'll be great watching him every Friday night.

if you have the chance to get a centre who is a massive upgrade on who we have you do what you can to sign him

I'm not fine with what we have when a bloke like roberts in out there without a club. We need to do what ever we can when it comes to improving our side so much. It's not like he will only add a slight upgrade to our roster and we've been screaming out for a centre of his class for years

Val and Roberts in our backline makes the opposition's handling very important. A dropped ball anywhere near them spells tries more often than not. On the flipside if we throw a stinker we're a good chance of running it down.

Fair call, but with the gains and losses from last season on top of the squad we already have, I don't see how we could have much left over. Just my observation, I wouldn't have a clue what each players on outside of a couple.
