It makes even more sense to move a team to either Brisbane, Perth or Wellington.

Wellington Magpies has a ring to it.

All those places are chance of getting a team if/when the NRL expands.

The reason I mentioned Gosford, is because I think there is no chance they get a team unless its a relocation.

The Tigers were actually looking to move up there or Melbourne at a point in the early 90s I think. Around the time when they started playing out of Parramatta stadium.

Makes me laugh whenever someone brings up the good ol' 'the sharks are the only option to relocate a team' when we have two joint ventures struggling massively and a 4th attempt at a gold coast franchise dead in the water. Seriously go to the gold coast and no one gives a flying **** about the titans. They're all too busy getting tit implants or smoking out of a light bulb.

Isn't a case of Balmain being broke but having all the good juniors, and Wests having some cash but not getting any crowds wanting to go to Campbelltown games.

At any rate, West Tigers fans are up there with the most douche-iest fans in the league. I wouldn't be too sad if they were forced to move.

It sure does, but of course they could just keep it as Wests Tigers or something if they were move to Perth.

Nah Wrighty, regional teams are where all the fans are. Sydney has no business having so many teams /s

I don't agree that there are too many teams in Sydney. I think that's a bit of **** actually. How's the Gold Coast, Illawarra and Newcastle going?

Campbelltown's probably got as much going for it as the Central Coast anyway. Both places are really just on the fringe of Sydney and neither place has a lot of money.

And Wests have done nothing wrong so they shouldn't have the last bit of their identity stripped and moved. They are financial, the Tigers aren't.

Played golf at Camden recently, it's scary how much development is going up out there. Give Wests their team back.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't Balmain at the beginning prop up Wests as they were in the better financial health? Now the tables have turned?

Bit of a risk i suppose when it's a merger that the financial fortunes of either entity can fluctuate.

Might be a big chance of nabbing him with Tigers in turmoil .
He does have rep ambitions .
He sounds like a nice humble lad on that Tigers Website video .

He is excellent. Often runs over 150m in a game of the bench. Perfect value buy.

The two forwards we are linked to both played in yesterday Tigers V warriors game.
Seumanufagai playing for the Tigers came of the bench and played 43 minutes. Took 16 hit ups for 146 metres

Ikahihifo started in the front row for the warriors playing 39 minutes having 13 hit ups for 124 metres. Got a try assist but also made 2 errors and gave away 2 penalties

Both have decent work rates

They are good stats. I've never seen either play, what kind of contracts would they demand?

That's an interesting question, PS. We were all saying earlier in the year we'd have to offer overs to get players here. Has that now changed with current form and Maloney coming next year? Are we now a club that players may actually want to come to?

wouldn't be big money. Seumanufagai is a regular so he'd commend more but Ikahihifo has only played 9 games this year. Both are only 24 years old so are about to hit their peak years as forwards

Sounds like we should be at least trying to snag 1 of these guys rather than resigning all our 30+ year old forwards, even if it was for slightly more coin.

Anyone think that after Ennis retires (hopefully not for a bit) we should perhaps make a move for Penriths hooker James Segeyaro?
