Bryce Cartwright is/will be a gun. But the Panthers won't get rid of him without him doing something ****ed up off field. At the moment I think it's just that Ivan Cleary is not afraid to drop rookies if he feels they aren't tackling hard enough.

In terms of people on the nose at Penrith, Adam Docker is the one that is way down the pecking order. For good reason, he's like a smaller version of Sam Tagataese except with more downsides.

No reason why we shouldn't have a go at Bryce. It's not always a matter of the club wanting/not wanting to let a player go, sometimes they just don't believe the player is worth what another club is offering. Peachey is an example of that.

There is a reason why we shouldn't have a go at Bryce --- Cartwright is on contract with the Panthers until the end of 2018.

Why is that an issue. If it were the club trying to offload him then thats no issue. If he wants to leave then yeah we pay some compo and lose our value for money.

Cartwright isn't going anywhere. Penrith see him as a future captain. Ivan put him back to NSW Cup last week after he lost Wallace and brought in Kite to add experience. End of story. Bryce is the son of Dave (who played a bit of first grade in the early 80's). Aside from not letting Bryce go anywhere, Penrith is also close to signing his cousin, Jed (John's son) from the Gold Coast. Jed plays more like John than Bryce does. They will also pick up Paul Carter once he has completed his time of the sideline for DUI.

They already have a Geyer, a Cartwright, an Izzard in the ranks. Chuck in Carter an one of the Alexander boys and it's like we're back in the 90's.

A mate of mine who's a big Canberra fan told me Raiders have signed Grevsmuhl for next year. Announcement to come soon.

Not sure how reliable his source is (coudl be from their forum), but this a good buy from what I have seen from him this year.

With Austin, Sezer, Nuuausala and Grevsmuhl looks like Sticky has made a few astute buys. Without getting any big names. Not sure what overs he has had to pay though.

St Helens halfback Lance Hohaia wants to come back to the NRL. I haven't been keeping track of the ESL, can he still cut it down here and would he be an upgrade of Robson?

Imagine if true. GC lost Sezer and DCE pulls out. All of a sudden they're screwed. The have to do something about this ridiculous June 30 deadline whether this DCE thing is true or not. Sooner or later a club will get royally shafted.
