Would benji be such a bad buy for us? Still has skill and at an age that wont hurt the younger halves at our club and if they dont come good the contract wont be too long and we will be in the market again in 2/3 years

Didnt bunj sign a 3 year deal (2 and a half really) deal, has a year left. Could add something, but there needs to be a point we look to the future and put our eggs in that basket. We have Bird and Holmes, Nu Brown, Gagan, Feki, Fifitas, Graham for a few years yet, anyone we bring in needs to be a permanent fixture and not a season long band-aid. You can do that with props, because generally most are effective later in their careers. Once a quick guy gets slow he becomes almost useless. Benji is good, but if he isnt going to create a future halves combo i dont see any need
Yeah & I'm still dirty that the NRL allowed the drag queens to breach their cap to beat our offer. He's massively overrated also, but not alone in that group.
