Read in RLW today that Todd wants to come back to the Sharks this year, will be interesting to see how this one unfolds. I'd be keen to have him in the 7 jersey with Robbo playing for the jets.
How would this affect our salary cap if Carney came back?

a few half backs and their managers would panic if Todd returned to the Sharks, who'd bump up their price?

We never got the wooden spoon with him here. Let's get the old band back together
my spine shuddered so hard at the mere thought of 'the old squad'

Nothing compared to the player market melt down once Robbo becomes a free agent

Special star power over the cap money from the NRL

Oh wait we are the Sharks we don't get stuff like that

You mean you want the NRL to help us break the salary cap in order to bring back a guy who pissed all over our Club and the game?

Im more interested to know what will happen if we have to pay a release fee for him to get elsewhere.

As it was deemed unfair dismissal, could the NRL be deeming his sacking as just us releasing him (like Barba) and we could actually end up losing cap space even though we dont have him? Is that the way it works if you just cut a guy?

Wasn't it the process that was wrong. I can't see why we need to have a settlement, if they do it the right way then no payment is due.Thought that was what the hook up was all about.

Daniel Tupou is set to be the next representative player squeezed out of the Roosters with the club battling to starve off attention from Parramatta and Penrith plus salary cap constraints to keep the winger at the club.

Just a day after Roger Tuivasa-Sheck announced his defection to the Warriors, Tupou is expected to be the next big-game player forced out of the Roosters at the end of this year.

The Eels and Panthers are circling with a return to Tupou's junior club Parramatta more likely. Tupou played in the club's junior representative teams before switching to the Roosters.

I guess Hayne would have been on a bucket load and Manly would be paying some of Watmough's contract.
Wasn't Watmong off contract? Hayne was on a lot but if you look at parra they only have 5 well payed players in Norman,Sandow,Hoppa, Mannah and Watmong the rest would be on normal to small contracts surely.

Reckon they have plenty of space left.
