In your head, rent free
tricky spot we find ourselves in now, and it shouldn't be, we only need a few things tinkered with and we have a premiership threat

obviously DCE was the eggs in the basket, land him, Barba becomes happy, bobs your uncle, fanny is your aunt

unfortunately, the eggs got smashed and we find ourselves reloading with no bullets to fire

I am still of the belief that the best option going forward is Chris Sandow, but I don't think flanno could coach 2 adlib style players in the halves, and they are a poker machine bender away from us being in the same situation again.

I think we seriously need to consider Aiden Sezer on decent coin, probably overs, as he is young, and there is the option to partner him with barba, and then connor tracey

I would also be looking at Tamou, and a serious bid for BJL, he is killing it atm.

those 3 would probably cost us our DCE budget, so I think that is just as smart business.

I think Manly or Titans will end up with Aiden Sezer . It would be awesome to land him .
We'd have more chances of securing one of the 2 Canberra options if we want a halfback until our juniors come of age .
Tamou is like Taga , huge with NO ticker . I don't really want him playing the way he is presently .
If he finds form we're down yet another player at Origin time .
Smart teams are employing quality Poms Kiwi's , islanders and PNG 'ans to avoid mid season depletion and Origin Hangover .

The only grace that might save it is Jack Bird playing this week

He won't win games on his own, but you can tell he'll have a dig and give his all. The way Flanno has spoken about him and his performance in the 9's, you can tell he's itching to get out there and smash someone. Hoping to see him debut sooner rather than later.

But what would Sandow be like under Flanno ? I think he would be the same Sandow that played under Ricky.

thats the million dollar question isn't, he has seemed to have matured off the field in the last year, by all reports he has trained very hard in the off season and you can tell that by his fitness, now where that is down to the coaching stuff, himself or both is another question.

When he was dropped at the beginning of last year he absolutely ripped in for wenty and earned his way back into first grade, people in his situation can easily go of the rails not give a **** and ask for a release etc etc but there is very good signs in his off field dedication from what I've been hearing. Again not sure if was a matter of Arthur pushing him, him wanting to change or a bit of both

The problem we would face if he were to come here and slack of again, we will have the slow over weight sandow and that will be no good for us

Does Nathan Gardner have any history as a 7? He is fast, has good hands and great elusiveness. Worth a try in NSW Cup as a 7?

Apologies if this has already been posted, but saw this today from Buzz. Now whilst I dont want to give him any oxygen, if this is true then FMD.

Sharks could have landed Koroibete
NO wonder Fijian flyer Marika Koroibete had a blinder against the Sharks in Melbourne on Saturday night. He had a point to prove.

When he was released by the Wests Tigers last year, his manager Sam Ayoub went knocking on Cronulla’s door. He wanted to stay in Sydney.

The Sharks said no thanks. Instead they signed veteran Mitch Brown from the Bulldogs.

Recruitment in rugby league is a tough gig.

Some clubs are good at it, some aren’t. It’s one area the Sharks need to improve on.

How they would love to have Chad Townsend back, the local junior they released two years ago. He had a mighty game for the Warriors in the big win over Parramatta on Saturday.

The Sharks have had a terrible start to the season.

They now face a tough month of football against the Titans, Roosters, Knights and Rabbitohs. The pressure is on Shane Flanagan to move Ben Barba from five-eighth and use Jack Bird in the No.6 *jersey against the Titans.

I've been in the Sandow Peugot

I'm just not sure that Lyall would give it the thumbs up, that's what I should have asked him about at the footy the other night

He was released by tigers cos he'd been so ****. He had an epic debut and a few games after. Remember 2013 pom showing him how its done and carney just attacking his wing all night?

Bellamy has given him a simple role to play and he is doing it well. He wouldnt have been so good for us

I have always wondered why he has not been given a go in the 7 jumper in the lower grades. Must be his defence/passing or maybe he just cannot organise.
