The remaining nut is so scared he is going to put it in the line again it's like a turtles head and sits up in his chest cavity, for safe keeping.

aiden sezer is having a cracker of a game, what would you offer him to get him here?
i think he he is a handy player but I think we need more then him, the problem we face is we don't know how the barba at 5/8 experiment is going to pan out and we can't sit around fingering our dates to find out, if barba was firing then a player like sezer would be a decent buy, would be the cheapest out of all the options available so we could spend some money in other areas as well

To me we need either Maloney, sandow or whiddop (if the rumours are true)

We need to be after him big time. Young, calm, great kicker and can still improve. Maloney also would be great, but sounds like he'll stay or go to Dogs or Eagles. Widdop would be a great pick up. I've gone right off Trent Hodkinson after Friday, his best football is now well past him.

Sezer seems to be improving with Henry's coaching. He's probably a more realistic target than Hodkinson or Maloney purely because his Club has already signed a half. I find it very hard to believe that we could out do the Bulldogs or the Roosters to sign a player they actually want to keep... just doesn't happen. I suppose there is Hastings and Mbye coming through but I don't see them letting the senior guys go just yet.

All those other names - Tamou, Scott, Leilua etc - I would take too. But none would.make much difference to how things are going at the moment.

I would throw up to 750k at Sezer, he seems to be very level headed and directs the team well. He is also young and has the potential to be with us for a long time. If Barba doesn't work out, by the end of his contract Tracey may be ready for a Sezer/Tracey combo. He still looks likely to improve too unlike the other big options.

Sezer needs to be number 1 priority imo.

The least well known player out of the bunch but probably the most talented. He's got it all. Running game, kicking game, good in defense and a goal kicker. He's also young.

He's what we need.

This thread is now becoming redundant in my opinion. It doesn't matter who is linked to us, if we continue to employ our current coach it doesn't matter who comes here. We will still lose the majority of our games.

Fans are turning away at the moment, I shudder to think how many we'll get to the Titans game this Saturday.
I have a good mate who's a dyed in the wool supporter but he's now having nothing to do with them while Flanagan is the coach.

when the rumours surfaced about tamou I said he'd be a good get, think he would go well in our pack, we seem to get the best out of props

If the rumours are true about whiddop then I'd make him our number 1 priority, rate him highly and imo would compliment barba well

BJL is the kind of centre we need, he is a bulldozer, just wants to run over the defence and considering the type of ball we give our centres in the attacking 10 metres he would be perfect

No to Scott, will cost us too much, won't be cheap and I'd rather keep Toops around for another year or two

Yes

Same Chadley, i either go and watch Cronulla play, or got and watch De La v Gymea.

The only grace that might save it is Jack Bird playing this week

I don't want carney back purely for the fact for every try he'd set up he'd let 3 in. Plus he was so inconsistent anyway.

He had his chance here earning big money, move on and find a player that puts football ahead of being out on the piss on his list of priorities.

I agree we have to move on but he was a better player than we gave him credit for. In order to really move on we have to change our culture our current set up is never going to give us the outcome we are all looking for.

I'll be there Snow but really hoping to see the kid play too. If you are going to be there let me know so I can give you the gift pack. :)

Was just about to post the exact same thing.

it doesnt matter who we sign or who coaches us people. We have had some of the best play and coach our Sharks - even the great Jack Gibson! I think I have solved the problem..... The Sharks Jersey is like the Bermuda Triangle for talent. No matter who it is that comes here, all of their talent and skill seems to go missing! This goes much more deeper than culture - the jersey is cursed. I cant remember the last time I watched a game actually expecting to win? No matter who the opposition is.... we just aren't a team who competes. The club has no culture. You only need to watch the body language of the team when something good or bad happens on the field. There is little or no reaction, support or enthusiasm. Watch carefully and you will know what I mean. No camaraderie! Over it!
