I'm hoping by end of year this is what we see:

1. Holmes
2. Gordon
3. Feki
4. Beale
5. Gagan
6. Barba

I can see that backline being a dominant force in the next 2-3 years, with backup from Leutele, Brown and Addo-Carr all of whom will be pretty good second stringers

yeah that gets my outboard motor going!

at the end of the day we have a few players who can fill the 1-5 ... all we need is for one of those players (EG Feki, Ricky, Gagan, Holmes) to have a break through year and make their position their own ...

People are questioning the Sharks salary cap it seems.

IMO its very very full. Has to be.

Fifita (upgraded)
Graham (upgraded)
Gallen (large)
Lewis
Barba
Ennis

Thats 6 high paid. Few 3rd party deals plus a top up from the Broncos for Barba......Gallen is getting a 50% discount i believe also.

do/did the panthers ever pay for Lewis? Also there has been talk that saints are paying some for Beale. Not sure if that's right though.

We did come last, so if anyone should have space its us.

Hmmm I would prefer to move Feki back to wing in that list. Holmes to back to reggies and SKD in the centres

Because sticking by Leutele and offering contract extensions during injury lay-offs and giving him an NRL debut ahead of others despite having played a game of NSW Cup rep footy a few days earlier is a sign that a coach does not rate a player...

Agree, Barba v Todd, we fall away in the kicking dept on that comparison alone, we do gain something back with Ennis as our 9, he can do a bit of kicking jumping out from dummy half but it will be our weakness in 2015.
