I personally don't like Barba but **** he would be a good signing for us

I am with you, barba the person was a bit of a rat bag, but like careny, he gets a shot at redemption with us, and I back him to take it and use his chance a lot better

barba the footballer has the ability to excite a stagnant, and very funeral like crowd at shark park, so for that reason alone I want him in the BB&W4LYF

No way in this world is he worth a million bucks a season. I think giving him 600k is a stretch and is as high as we should go ATM.

Does anybody know if any other clubs are in the running?

I understand that. At least there's hope when you have a guy like this. These types of players can turn a game at anytime. Even when they aren't playing well, you at least know they have it in them. They provide hope, if nothing else.

I would be more than happy having Barba here. But just one little thing nags at me.

I don't understand why he is happy to come back to Sydney when he was released to Brisbane on compassionate grounds to be with his family. I just can't get past the fact that if he does sign with us, he'll back out at some stage if things get tough.

Somebody got the Rooster moving in the halves and l am sure it wasn't Jnr's kid.
Pearce is a fantastic club footballer he is constantly in the top 5 for try assists and line break assists. He is a rubbish rep player. I would kill to have pearce here

He doesn't really have too many options in South East Queensland if the Broncos don't want him though.

Hmm. Maybe it's that a new coach has come in and basically said 'I have a better half in mind than you, and (in my opinion) a better fullback than you in mind too. See you later'? I guess it works out because it just so happens that he has friends in the Shire and it's somewhat familiar to him.

Sharks to announce Barba deal soon

Expect the Cronulla Sharks to announce that Ben Barba is a done deal sometime in the next week.
The Sharks and Broncos have secretly been working out an arrangement that will see the Cronulla club take over Barba’s contract - worth close to a million dollars a season with ‘extras’ - for the next three years.
I’m hearing it is all but a done deal, with the Broncos happy to pay part of Barba’s wages next season just to move the former Dally M Medallist on.
The writing was on the wall for Barba as soon as the Broncos started chasing Darius Boyd - the man Wayne Bennett wants in the fullback spot.

I thought he was back with his ex misses so it could be possible he will relocate his whole family.
