WHO HOLDS THE ACES FOR FORAN?
FOXSPORTS.COM.AU – NOVEMBER 7, 2014
CANBERRA RAIDERS, CANTERBURY-BANKSTOWN BULLDOGS, CRONULLA SHARKS, KIERAN FORAN, MANLY SEA EAGLES, NEW ZEALAND WARRIORS, NEWS, PARRAMATTA EELS, SYDNEY ROOSTERS
Kieran Foran
The Parramatta Eels are the latest club to join the queue to land the signature of Manly Sea Eagles and Kiwi Test five-eighth Kieran Foran, with the combination of coach Brad Arthur and Anthony Watmough shaping as two blue-and-gold aces.
Sport Confidential can reveal Foran has a huge opinion of Arthur from his time as an assistant at Manly, with the interest from the Eels taking the total number of clubs seriously chasing the New Zealand Test star to seven.
The Eels, Canterbury-Bankstown Buldogs, Sydney Roosters, New Zealand Warriors, Cronulla Sharks, Canberra Raiders and Foran’s existing club the Sea Eagles have all signalled an interest in signing the no.6, who is guaranteed to become one of the highest-paid players in the NRL.
Realistically, only the Eels, Bulldogs and the Roosters are genuine contenders to lure Foran away from the Sea Eagles’ Narrabeen headquarters, with all three holding influential trump cards.

The Lurker returns just in time for the weekend and he brings you news about Barba's next move, Allgood's future and who is keen on Costigan?
Shark Barba
Expect the Sharks to announce that Ben Barba is a done deal sometime in the next week.
The Sharks and Broncos have secretly been working out an arrangement that will see the Cronulla club take over Barba’s contract - worth close to a million dollars a season with ‘extras’ - for the next three years.
I’m hearing it is all but a done deal, with the Broncos happy to pay part of Barba’s wages next season just to move the former Dally M Medallist on.
The writing was on the wall for Barba as soon as the Broncos started chasing Darius Boyd - the man Wayne Bennett wants in the fullback spot.
Bennett didn’t want Barba - just as he saw prop Marty Kennedy as excess baggage.
Kennedy has since quit the club and joined the Roosters and Barba will also be on his way soon, giving the struggling Sharks a massive boost for 2015.
Was that it? Sportal/Lurker not the most credible, but it's something..
Remember the Episode of the Big Bang Theory when Raj brought his Lawyer cousin in via skype to get 2 jet ski's from the rest of the geeks in trade for the ring from LOTR?
Well this is Brisbane's version of Raj's attempt.... and will likely have a similar outcome.
A million a season?
Excellent, now for the official announcement. I'd say 2015 suddenly got very interesting. What are people's thoughts of our recruitment if we pull it off? A-? B+?
No idea what you're talking about mate. Can you interrupt for those that don't watch that show?
Hmmm i thought eveyrone would have seen that... in short... the lawyer plays hardball but is shot down quickly. Basically Brisbane need him gone so they are throwing it out there to see if we are silly enough, im hopeful that we wont be screwed.
