If we can't get Hunt, I think we should look prioritise a 6 not a 7. Brown looks more like a 7 to me and we have Robbo for another year.

Couldnt agree more, we have set the example

interested to see how the nrl react to players who play up in the future

It's more a problem of repeat, serial offenders like Carney. Football players or athletes to be honest will always fall foul of the law. It's the nature of the beast. Lack of emotional maturity, alcohol, down time and disposable income are a perfect storm for a sport like NRL. As long as the NRL and clubs attempt to rehabilitate offenders then a three strike policy would be perfect across the board as long as it's left in the hands of an independent integrity unit.

Unfortuantely for us Carney was operating on a perceived ten strike policy.

Tef, ive been waiting for you to critique jeff robsons game yesterday...

Haha, to be honest I only watched it this morning mate. We were very poor and Robson was even poorer. I don't know who came up with that game plan but it was the opposite of what made us successful in those last two comebacks. Very disappointing really.

Im amused by how much the media and nrl frown upon Todd Carney, a week after kissing Arana Taumata's arse. A bloke whos played at more than twice the number of clubs Carney has, and he stole a prescription pad. An offence that had the potential to give junkies unlimited access to drugs that could kill them.

But Carney was a knob on the beers.

Happy for the club to take the stance they did, but the nrl has a few standards that need some aligning

I agree. There has to be some consistency. Arana is the only other player that can compete with Carney in a misbehaving contest.
