I wonder if there is any capacity to pay a contracted player starting next year, this year, and therefore allowing to free up more cap space for next year?

There needs to be an extraordinary circumstances clause in the cap. How many other teams are playing this week with 4-5 regular first graders.

Hoping so. Might blood him on the wing first, a bit like the Chooks and RTS. But they are very different players, not sure how he'd do on the wing.

Putting Holmes on the wing could ruin him, imo it's full back or nothing, tbh I can't see flash moving from the fullback position next year. If so Holmes needs to play nsw cup and any game that flash is out Holmes needs to replace him

Surely he'll start next season at fullback. Here's hoping flash has a blinder in the centres to make that move permanent.

if Holmes continues to impress on nsw cup then I'm all for that. I'd be happy to play Holmes in nsw cup for the rest of the year
