He is statistically the worst defensive centre in the comp over the last 2 years. That doesn’t mean it is all his fault or that he won’t improve, but a fresh start and a new system is probably a good thing for him.

As for Flanno, he just turned 24. He’s not a lost cause just yet. 3 of the top 8 teams last year had been halfbacks who hadn’t played an NRL game in #7 when they were 24.

I never understood the love he gets. He has that ‘****’ attitude about it to oppositions which i found cool but as you said his defense is extremely overrated and he never passes the ball to the Australian winger outside of him

Klemmer would be better for us than Leniu. We already have a couple of impact props. We need a forward leader who enjoys doing the tough stuff and someone who will always rip in.
