Easy big fella. We are losing 3 props next year.
1 being replaced by Kaufusi and the other two being replaced in the squad by Hazelton and Colquhoun. I dont know if we’re after a prop or not but I don’t think we really need another one. It wouldn’t surprise me if we’re not, but you never know.

Looking at our squad, what do we need? The answer is a meter eating prop that can get 150m easily per game. We got no one in the team that is a real enforcer

Id still argue Colquhoun is a lock and not a prop

Not every team is going to have that dominant 150-200 metre a game prop and we seem to be doing ok with the Rudolf-Hunt-BHU rotation, plus we re-signed Williams and signed Kaufusi, both of them arent going to sit in reserve grade, we’re going to use one or the other. Thats the four spot rotation filled.

Also when Fifita announced he was leaving he said it was partly to help bring the young guys through. That tells me that the club is backing Colquhoun and Hazelton imo and i’d be alright with that. Its a good time to bring in these guys into the fold and back them.

Thats why I dont think we’re going to sign another prop.

Hunt signing a one year deal means it make or break for him again next year
a fringe backrower is what we need
nikora
wilton
and wades still yet to officially re sign ?
murchie would be perfect at the right price

Dont really see the absolute need for a premier prop. I think it goes amiss with some fans that our playing style doesnt exactly require a single forward to make over 150 metres a game.
and our playing style has a high error rate/ turnover so some players are potentialy losing 20-30 metres or 3-4 hit ups per game.

I think were more shaky on the edge. Graham is our weakest link. Wilton is promiaing but not perfect. Nikora is in mighty fine touch but if we lose him to injury we look very shallow in that department.

You watch the roosters..

The reason they are killing it now is because they have 3 serious props and they are playing the power game because of it

I think with Rudolph back in, we have the potential to roll other forward packs.. our backline have been picking up the slack lately but to win these games from here on in we need the forwards to step it up

Man I'd love JWH here if he was 2 or 3 years younger. The man is a ****ing mongrel and I love it.

His tackle efficiency and defensive work rate is very good.

Hopefully the other prop is a good as well!
Just watch a highlights of any Tigers game, his defense around the ruck is non existant.

Anyone at the Roosters Storm Game Live, witnessed up close and Personal ,what Wizards saying. Just Blittzgrieged the Storm Middles, zeroing in on NAS 1st up. That's the one middle forward missing that might be the difference this season.
