Not saying he'd have to have a top class long kicking game but I reckon you need a little more than the bolded bit these days.

Don't get me wrong, I like him.



Done a little digging. From 42 games with the Cutters in the Qld cup he had an average of 148 kick metres a game (Johnson has 149m ave from 2 games) and a total of 8 forced dropouts, just to add to that also he’s got an impressive 26 try assists.

Some will probably be able to tell me more who have watched him a bit over his career, but looks like he has some sort of an alright kicking game in his skills, far superior to what we were getting from Moylan haha

I didn't really like Hynes that much last season - seemed to have too many errors in him, particularly for a storm player which is why it stood out more

but he has improved this year and turning into a handy player

Burleigh mate - but Easts is my nearest team, and the kids like the inflatable Tiger. I get around to quite a few different grounds. In the 2 years before Covid I’ve been to every ground in Brissy/GC and I have a mate who works all over the state so between us we are building up quite the Stubby Cooler collection.

They’ve been playing Tweed games at Tugun Seahawks too. That’s awesome - walking distance from my best mate’s place

Bashup is nice too. Only problem is that the sun is right in your face if you are standing on the bar end.

I have mixed feelings about that place. Got a flogging there one day from Matt Geyer and friends, but scored my first try in that grade

Maybe wants 4 years to relocate the kids and school etc but would still take 3 from us.
