Drinkwater to Cowboys is a perfect fit. I think I even suggested that on here a while ago. Deserves a shot in first grade. Was probably the best fullback in either NSW/Qld Cup last season, including both Papenhuyzen and Brimson.

Yeah. Was originally a 7 but split time 50/50 between 1 and 6 over the last few seasons. Some of that is situational. His team had Croft/Walters in the halves last year so he played at 1. The year before his team had Hughes so he played 6 all year. He’s equally capable at either spot, which is why he’s a great fit for the Cowboys.
His ball-playing is what makes him better than Papenhuyzen and Brimson IMO. The other two can burn you with speed/strength but Drinkwater can do that, and he can put a player in a hole, out a winger over, or work block plays on an edge.

Drinkwater is named for his Q Cup side (Storm feeder). If he’s off to the Cowboys it’s not this week.

So with the rumours doing the rounds, Jayden going to Knights and Capewell said he look around or shopped around for next year what will our bench look like? do we carry 4 forwards? what does everyone think? Is bukuya still signed with us for next year? who misses our 17?? thoughts...
