Yeah but Easts aren't allowed to negotiate with him now for the 2020 season.

It stinks to me if the rumours of a one year deal are true. You just don't see good players do it.

He's using us as a stepping stone to Easts post Cronk imo.

I thought Cronk signed for 2018 only.

Just to be clear, I have no idea if Flanno jnr is any good, but the way the coach/father talk is heading you'd expect him to be in the full time squad at some point sooner than later.

I am perfectly ok with signing SJ for one year if we can sign Barba for fullback the following year.

We could run with
1. Moylan
6. Townsend
7. Johnson
9. Brailey

14. Brailey/Flanagan

Back up Brailey/Flanagn and Kennedy (Dugan)

Next year we could put
1. Barba
6. Moylan
7. Townsend/Flanagan
9. Brailey

14. Brailey/Flanagan

Kennedy Back up

True but shuffling Moylan back to 1 and then 6 does zero for his development.

I hope this from the other forum isn't true

Probably similar mail to what I have heard.

3 Months and Flanno is gone. Kyle more than likely to follow Dad.

Redundancies are already being offered to certain staff by your's truly.

Financially we are stuffed and we will be owned by the NRL within 12 months.

Lyall Gorman under the microscope and will be lucky to be involved in sports administration ever again.

I have also heard some senior players and Flanno don't look eye to eye.

Sounds a bit of a stretch. Why wait until the season is almost started to get rid of the coach?
If we have no money how can we offer redundancies, and how are we trying to sign players ... I call BS

Thinking the same... plenty saying no issue with our premiership year, but Gorman to get a long stint out of the game. He should quit now like the broncos bloke then wander in some where else.

Can anyone offer an insight into what Flanno has done wrong ?

Is it salary cap ? Something else ?

You read one article saying he is negotiating with world class players and then another says he faces the punt.

My head is spinning......

Fox sports are reporting that Flanno is caught up in payments made outside the cap, and will have to leave, as early as next season. And we’ve got cash flow problems? Talk of John Morris getting a crack. Surely it’s all speculation. Bellamy survived the mother of all cap scandals, I’m sure Flanno can.

On TV or online? Link?

If Flanno is done for cap rorting that'll do me. Premiership or not, ASADA was strike one and two.

It’s the same Hooper story as the one mentioned earlier today. Nothing in the mainstream.
