Well yeah but that would be harder to achieve.

SJ is a better half than Moylan and Val is a better fullback than Moylan so I would be all for it, but it sounds unrealistic.

I agree. I’m in the camp that believe Val’s got one foot out the door, but... maybe signing Johnson would make him reconsider. I think Cowboys are a fair way from being competitive again.

Val leaving has nothing to do with how competitive the Cows might be though.

btw, i asked a very reliable person about AFB, he said it was a definite NO

said that at the moment flannos main focus is another back before looking elsewhere, however, flanno is looking at the coaching mery-go-round to see if he can get a bargain

Yeah there's bound to be players flying off that merry-go-round.

WHY did we not upgrade Eldrick Lee's contract ?
This from the gun after some said Morris on half of Dugans contract

Quarter. We got Morris for $200k.
Dugan isn't being shopped either, we are fast running out of backs.
We are so desperate for wingers we asked Antonio Winterstein if he would consider one more year.

edrick lee's situation was common knowledge, like ramien, we offered him a contract but his misses wanted to leave sydney

Bummmer !
If Knights get Klemmer and perhaps one more quality BIG bopper they are going to have a bloody good team , if not already .

It's not that desperate. We have Katoa and Feki ... plus Gray ... plus both Xerri and Capewell as legitimate options in the centres with one of the other blokes covering the wing. A depth winger would be a good pickup but we'd have a bit of a logjam at the Jets holding back some good young blokes from valuable game time. Xerri, Lumelume, Ferris, and Gray would be penciled in for Newtown already IMO, and if Rennie stays too they would already have too many.
