i think the Knights will more than likely not get the best from him until his second year in his tenure regardless of their pack, call it coincidental or not, Issac seems to play out of his skin every time he's off contract.

It's a shame because Bully at his best is great to watch.

Still, a very good pick up for Newy, especially with young Kiwi hooker Levi there. Young forwards will learn a bit from a quality #9 too. If you can't get a better pack, get a better hooker.

I think there’s a club already in his ear judging from how this is playing out, if it is indeed true. I wouldn’t be too disappointed if it was us. He’s probably been their best player both times they played us.

I'd happily take him though I do think we should be fine for backrowers in the coming years - Nikora, Williams, Wilton and Carr will all feature in the next few years.

We were one of the Clubs interested in Ryan Matterson. So we are definitely looking to replace Lewis with someone. Would be a great buy if true. He has scored 18 tries in 41 games as a backrower in a team mostly getting lapped. I’m sure there will be quite a few Clubs interested if he becomes available.

I would happily sign him for 3 years.

No Wade for the start of next year def means we need some more depth. I would have been perfectly ok with us covering the loss of lewis. but starting without lewis and wadeo is a bit concerning.
