Goes without saying, but I hope we have a crack at Isaako. He's all class, kicks goals (and field goals) and will only get bigger and stronger. We should have some salary cap space – more than the Broncos – and a backline of Holmes, Katoa, Dugan, Morris and Isaako wouldn't be bad at all.

Isn't he either a fullback or centre though? Can't remember which one.

Doubt he'll want to keep playing on the wing.

Boyd's only 30, so I imagine he'll be Brisbane's fullback for another 2-3 years. If we can offer him a bigger contract he might like his odds of replacing Val at the back.

Either way, unless he goes to a struggling club he'll be playing wing next year.

He is a fullback who has played a bit of 6. That's why I reckon the Roosters talk is rubbish. He'd be better off playing 2 more years behind Boyd, or going to a team who actually has a long term need for a #1 (Titans, Cowboys and Bulldogs come to mind)

Surprised the Cowboys don't have a crack. Going to be way cheaper than Holmes and is still going to be a very good fullback imo.

He has also already shown that he is better than anyone the Cowboys have in the pipeline (Anderson, Gela-Mosby and others). There are a lots of very good young centres on wingers on the Cowboys books but they are thin on fullbacks. Their best bet will be to either chase Isaako or let one of Coote/Hampton play there for 2019 and cross their fingers on Val.

if they can find a half back they could Morgan back there also. He was playing there when he got injured.

That won’t be a long term switch. Morgan and Clifford will be the halves. TMM bench. Hampton will be fullback, centre, or out. I think Hampton’s days as a 6/7/9 utility are done at the Cowboys IMO. He’s an outside back in a Paul Green’s eyes.

Offer the panthers halfback at contract for next season. He looks the goods. Needs development but in 1-2 years time he’ll be great imo

Hopefully taking on Maloney ****s up the Panthers’ chance of keeping him.

And everyone ends up hating Maloney like me.

Dw I hate him and hope he’s ****ed the club. We’ve beaten them twice now anyway so I’ve taken that as a win and Moylan is shining
