Really?

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or legit.

He & Vaughn will be just about as good any 8 & 10 combo in the comp.

Hunt and Widdop directing them around the park too. hope they don't make the 8, but I'll be interested in watching their first few games next year.

I've accepted that Maloney is gone. I was hoping the club could produce more money, but I get the feeling there is none. Good luck to him, he owes us nothing.

Moylan? Well he didn't look out of sorts in the origin arena, in fact he looked pretty good, so he'll do fine.

Well he owes another 12 months actually. He's carrying on like a muppet.

once again, the club doesnt have to release him nor give him an upgrade. In fact for the good of the sport the club should just say, sorry you are playing for what we agreed on

Maloney was instrumental in us winning our 1st title so for that I am eternally gratefull ,on the other hand considering what we are paying Dugan I would rather keep Maloney. Moylan will not come to the Sharks , he will stay at Penrith.
So who replaces Maloney. Give the guy what he wants and extend him and be done with it.

Morally we can & should stick to our guns but when you consider what the salary Dugan is on & what Chad is supposedly getting it's crazy to think Maloney is on less than them.

I know who's more instrumental in getting us wins in 2018 out of those three.

Not really. That's just because their contracts were up at the right time in the salary negotiation cycle. It's a slight quirk. Maloney would be paid more than Chad over a longer period of time. It's like this for many financial transactions in the real world.

Plus, on the way he's been playing, I don't think he's worth more than either of them. The only premium that can be attached to him is that he generally shows up in bigger games.

I would prefer paying that for chad than 700k for Dugan to play Center when we have a young gun in Ramien who could fill the void. should have forked out 500k for a good winger to partner Ramien

Totally i irrelevant. They have signed for 2018 and beyond ln the $9.2 or whatever million cap. Maloney signed for 3 years in 2015 for during the $6.4 or whatever it was. His manager ****ed up by not negotiating a better 3rd year. We arent valuing val, dugan or chad higher than Maloney, if Maloney wanted to stay here and a new contract is done he would probably be our highest paid

A lowly $650,000 or something
scrub city aye

the average working punter is lucky to get the CPI increase each year

mid to long term contracts are a risk for both player and club. He knew the deal and signed, he can make his case with the club but this **** really shouldn't be in the public domain, it helps nobody
