So I heard Gallen spoke on channel nine news about Seggy and said he was very confident he will be a shark in 2017 and the transfer fee isnt as much as everyone thinks.

I wonder if her gets license from the club to talk about signings or if he just takes it upon himself.

Either way I hope its true, I have us back half of the eight without an experienced hooker.

Don't know but it's refreshing to hear players give an answer rather than a cliche. Like with Glenn Maxwell the other week, probably shouldn't have said what he did publicly but I'm glad he did, too many robots in sport these days.

Once the pommy team relises segy ain't coming back nor is anyone going to pay massive overs to them for his release maybe some minimum coin and a similar positioned player should do the trick, cooler post Christmas heads will prevail.

Maxwell shouldn't have said it, as per the way of the Aussie cricket team, he should have released a book unloading on his team mates.. Has broken the rules wasn't it Mickey Arthur that got them into writing their thoughts

Maxwell gave Wade flack about promoting himself up the order in Shield cricket.

And he was right, Wade had his own agenda and was selfish. I guess my point was though whether you agree or not it's refreshing hearing a sportsman speak their mind these days. Doesn't happen very often.

Agreed & agreed. I wish we would see players speak with freedom a lot more.

Leeds Supporter , take it or leave it , rumour only at present .

Speculation again that Parcell is out with a move to Leeds replacing Segeyaro doing the rounds on twitter.

Below tweets from one of their fan group accounts:

Search for a nine is complete and will be joining in January. Young player too which is good.

Seems the name is out, Manly fans ain't happy, but sounds like Matt Parcell will be a good acquisition to our squad.

(Perhaps Beale to Manly , Segeyaro to Sharks ? )

Or Seggy to Manly

That could be true as we'd be even lighter on backs without Beale.
Although it seems Seggy seems to be very comfortable hanging out with the Sharks crew , which suggests this might become his new home
Capewell could play centre (as he did Q Cup ) but he was always a right side centre and can't see Bird shifting .
Tricky puzzle if we lost Beale .

Hi. From England so although I see all the Sharks games I don't get to see any of the reserve graders.

Who exactly do we have as cover in the backs next season?? If Val goes to FB & Beale to the wing then that seems okay but if we get injuries then who would come in?? Also thinking at Origin time we could have Val & Birdy missing so really not sure what our three quarter line up would be???

Hoping there are some decent centres/wingers coming through??
