Yeah I agree with this, add the extra play maker in for a period. I also like that it gives Nu a chance to prove his worth for the season whilst brailey matures. If Nu doesn't show much next year brailey can transition into the bench role from 2018.

Yeah it is cheap. Especially given the NRL average is somewhere over $200k now and most regular first graders would be on about $250k.

Also agree with playing two hookers. There's a bit of an obsession on here witu having one guy play 80 but IMO, there are only about half a dozen guys in the game that can give you 80 minutes of quality in the most demanding position. We have the advantage of having forwards who play big minutes so we can carry a second 9.

To Flano's credit he flagged Nu for that role in the pre season.

I'm very comfortable with where our recruitment is heading for next year.

You wouldn't be happy with Vaughan, Williams, Starling, Leilua and Cook? That covers almost all of our bases IMO.

Whats dumb about that? Missed out on a mediocre player to chase a genuine replacement to ennis. It would have been dumb to settle for kosty and not chase farah.
