They said on NRL360 last night that Taumololo is going re-sign with Nth Qld for $1.2mil a season. Big bucks for a forward. That's going to tie up a massive chunk of their cap. Depending on the unknown cap, of course.

With a guy like jt coming off contract they can definitely afford it.

I'm sure they can afford it, but it's going to have an impact on their team somewhere else. I think they'll end up with a weak point.

Yeah fair point, I guess it depends on the cap increase. With the potential to be the best forward in the game for a significant period its worth the risk I think.

The Vaughan talk on the outer... Sorry if I have posted can't recall, but he certainly walked out of the ground in team kit with wighton after we played them... So I'm thinking it more a internet rumour
Obviously if we don't sign them then it's not a success. That's why I wrote 'direction'.
Furner was on radio a week or two back... Certainly sounded like Vaughan and Fensom were likely to be allowed to leave at the end of the year but that he wouldn't speak about it until the post season. If Vaughan nails down a spot in the 17 then you would think that would change things.
Sounds a lot like a manager putting the frighteners on the Titans to me.
Because we rarely win those contests over signatures, and we don't need Farah. We just don't. The guy is quite a few years off his best and he is 33 in January. We should be looking for a guy like Kosty. I'd rather have Cook in our side next year than Farah.
