Not really if he is leaving Manly its only because his relationship with them has soured so it would make sense in a way.

Absolutely mate ! We're a pretty enticing team if you have Holmes, Barba, DCE, Ennis/Brown as the spine with Graham and Fifita locked up long term and Lewis and Gal maybe sticking around a bit.

End of last year I'm on a real downer with us getting the spoon and still having ASADA in our faces. Hell, even the Baggies were losing games and fighting among themselves.
Than BAM! We finish with ASADA, get Lyall on board, sign Barba and be right in the mix for DCE. And West Brom sack their manager, bring in super coach Pulis, lose only one bad game and get into the FA Cup quarter finals and are now back in form to beat relegation.
Amazing.

Whilst Lewis has not even nearly lived up to the expectations we have had of him I think it is unfair considering we have been a grinding team for years now. We really haven't used Lewis to his strengths. If Lewis is used as a battering ram again this year then we really should have just bought any old forward and saved the money.
Such a waste of talent.

Lewis came to us with a chip on his shoulder, and when ASADA hit the fan he was one of the first to put his hand up and make it clear he would walk if it came to it - while it was noble that he was defending his coach and certain team mates, it showed to me that he held little regard for our club and its history. Lo and behold, over the last 2 years he has consistently phoned it in for club games while making sure he was available to take dat sweet rep game money. If he gets moved on to help pay for DCE, I won't miss the errors or the lack of effort from him.
