Well I live 10 hours away from Cronulla and I have less than no idea of the goings on. I just rely on what I read on the net and social media sites. I have learnt more from this site about the Sharks than from anywhere else.
Annnnd this post is just random dribble.....

Is Beale suited to one side or can he play both? Is he looking to replace Jono on Right or Ricky on Left.

No matter how good he is, an Under 20s player who has played hardly any first grade or none at all, has no right in my mind to demand things.

If he has a good head on his shoulders and good management support he should realise that even if he's not picked in first grade this year he will have an abundance of chances to learn from good players and show his wares.

Agree, gun under 20's doesn't always mean a guaranteed 1st grader of top quality, remember Karl filiga(?) . Beale n skd all the way for me they are both young and talented enough to take us to another level.
If bird is collateral damage, I can make peace with that.

When will we give these kids solid game time, look at Milford kills it with some unpredictability, and Val Holmes was picked over him in Under 20 SOO, in preferred position.

Slightly off topic. i noticed the cows have offered a 1 mill extension to Greeny in that twitter post.
Would be a terrific coach for us if flanno happens to go belly up or sideways.

Was a favorite player of mine, a smart little 7 with heaps of guts.
He's got a big future in the coaching game.

It's why I say Holmes has to be in the team round one and able to take over the fullback role full time by the end of the year so 2016 isn't a gamble for us. If Holmes doesn't show he can handle it by the end of the year then he keeps the wing spot for 2016 aswel and we either extend Gordon or need a back up

Even if Val isn't in the team round 1 he will get plenty of game time throughout the season, I wouldn't get too worried what the team named for round 1 is - it will change as the season goes on whether through form or injury.

Been harping on about this for ages, sick of bringing on board back rowers and trying to play them at prop. Toops has sorta worked out in that role but he bulked up alot and we have enough depth in the backrow now

Need 1 or 2 genuine harmen

Gards you are a Wiseman I don't know of any other team that does not have real front rowers who are BIG Strong Mobile who run hard and hit hard . While we persist in trying to manufacture older second rowers ass props.

I really hope it does not bite us on the bum next year and we still have done very little to fix our 1/2 set up unless we are fairdinkum about DCE but if we miss him well who knows?

You are right on the money evertonshark we really have a talent In Val we would be crazy not to nurture him properly that does mean some reasonable time in First Grade.

PS evertonshark You do seem to be a long way from home!

Darryl Millard heading to souths is what I'm hearing. I'm glad, don't want him here at the sharks.

You are wrong that we are the only team that do this.
Brisbane with Parker and Thaiday
Titans with Myles
Dragons with De Bellin, Creagh and Frizell
Just to name a few.

The problem is the lack of genuine, quality front rowers in the game at the moment, so each team has to patch up the best they can.
I think we are not in as bad a position as people think.

Fifita is perhaps the best prop in the game when he is fit. He's big and strong but with added tricks.

He is the Harmen Globetrotter.

Whats with all the panic over our front rowers.
We've only lost Gibbs and Vave from last year and have signed Bakuya and the Newtown fella.

We were short on props last year and we are even shorter now. We do need a prop.
