When you put it that way Gow and Skeksis, yes I can see how we could afford him. And I know money speaks volumes but to want to come here, it would be very tough to convince him.
But when thinking further, if 2015 goes well and we win a large amount of games, make the finals, bring on sponsors, start seeing some of the development flow as well as having Gorman on board, then maybe yes, we do become a little more attractive.

I agree Chaddles. The one thing in our favour is our forward pack. The only problem is that pack won't be around for to much longer. A young guy like DCE might not see that as along term draw card.

The bolding eboli be spreading. 0_o

But yeah, the DCE link to Barba has been a thought that a few blokes on here have mentioned, I must admit it's something I had been imagining for a while as well. We'd also have to appeal to his missus to have a chance I reckon, the lifestyle if he moves out West (Parra) is certainly a lot different to the beaches. Though the Parra thing is probably already off the table with Watmough there. The word going around (could be BS) is that his missus wants to stay in Sydney.

DCE, Barba, Holmes (if he realises his potential). I would have to find another team to follow with attacking players like that in the black, white and blue.

Seriously though, that really is a mouth watering thought.

*Avoids mentioning Ennis' ridiculous missus*

But yeah, in terms of Titans, if they somehow get DCE and Keary, it opens up Sezer, a sharpshooter and kicking half. Which we'll need going forward.

Do you know how much coin Robson commands with his calming abilities? In all seriousness there might be 150-250k there. From there we just need to move gallen on or ask him to take a pay cut perhaps. Or lewis will be gone, theres another 400-450. Flash might go too. It's in the realm of possibility?

Lewis won'tbe gone, he's got a deal until 2016. But Robson, Gal, Heighno, Tupou, Gordon, Ayshford and Tag a are off contract. all of them would be on at least the standard 200k NRL starting wage - some of them much more.

Money wise and salary cap wise. DCE might be out of our reach. I know Gal, Toops, Flash and Heino are likely to be gone, but the guys that are replacing them need upgraded deals.

Fifita, Graham and Bakuya are still on the right side of father time. Hopefully Bird shows promise as a back rower (not convinced he's a centre ) That might be enough to entice him over.

yeah absolutely but we don't need to pay who ever is replacing Gal that kind of money, yes we won't have someone with as much quality but we can steer those funds into a halfback.

I think Gal earned something like 100k per game for us in 2014. Not really getting our money's worth there.

Just on the Lyall Gorman front, does anyone know how serious our discussions were/are and if we are a remote chance of getting him here? Saw an article a couple of weeks ago about our intentions but yet to hear anything since.

If Fifi can sort his **** out and get back to 2013 form he becomes the best prop in the game again. Wade Graham is a future origin player, there's your star second rower. With Ennis up front, dce and barba in the halves, and players like Holmes, Gagan and Bird (if he develops as anticipated) up back then you have the makings of a team that can make the grand final.
