Unless we sign a good centre and and halfback I cant see us making the 8 anyway. Unless they somehow get the bubbler back we don't have a chance in hell to make it anywhere, we also need to make positional changes also imo

he runs at the line and gets over it
considering our playing style this is the type of centre we need, having a attacking centre with flair doesn't suit our style, not having a dig at Ricky but he has only scored 2 tries in 20 games and how many times has he sent his winger over this year?

Not saying the Victorian fridge would be a great signing, but players with his playing style and build is what we need, we seem to just try to run over teams to get tries

Hes scored 8 times this year on the end of Smith, Cronk and Slater.

Four of those tries were against Canberra, two against us, one against penrith and one against the roosters.

Hardly the most impressive stats.

Fonua is a strong guy without much skill, and is a weak defender. Is also a slow thinker, and likes to hog the ball in attack. We made him look good, and he was put in the type of play in which he excels, which is receiving the ball on the line against a flat defensive line.

At any rate, he's Melbournian and they'll probably want to keep him there for... sentimental reasons.

I'd actually really like Paulo at the club. Bloke has a bit of X factor about him. Sign him up.

Croker has 17 tries and has received much less ball than Leutele in a team that is just as bad. People need to be a bit realistic here, a guy scoring 2 tries in a season that is supposed to be an offensive-minded centre is nothing special. Chambers destroyed him on Saturday.

Thats because Croker has individually been playing pretty dmm good footy.

We are just in shambles and Rickys second half of the year has been poor, which has kind of coincided with the whole side turning to ****.

Canberras style of play suits Crocker
He scores of kick, they have speed to run the entire field and so does he. They have a freak in Milford who can set up a try from anywhere and there structures have always been attack based . Last couple of years they've always been a team that on there day can score 50 points
Cronulla have to wait 50 games to think about a score line like that we are the grinding style/ boring ass team

He did say Ricky has been poor?

We are a team that plays the most boring footy in rugby league all across the world! Our leading try scorer last year was fifita and people try and defend gordon by saying he had a good year and has great support play yet we finished deep into the finals and he did poo for us in attack

Gordon needs to go on the wing
Robbo needs to go
Gal needs to play prop
Lewis needs to be lock still doesn't perform needs to follow rob
Feki or Leutele should learn right centre ( I say leutele because he has abit of flair and feki is just strong and would suit playing along side graham, short balls to feki close to the line and he would be hard to stop plus Leutele let's people get on his outside shoulde(left ) and still tackles with his right
We need to look around for a half we consider a back up, holds worth won't re-sign and robbo is poo . This back up no doubt will be better than robbo and when we sign a class half out halves depth is still decent

My team next year with what we have

Holmes
Gordon
Feki
Leutele
Gagan
Brown
.....
Fifita
Ennis
Gal
Toops
Graham
Lewis

Heighno
Taga
Arona/sop/fifita or a forward we buy
Hooker protege give him 25mins a game and let him learn form Ennis and gradually give him more time

All we are missing is a half and coaches with brains

I'd rather sign fonua as a centre than Taka, as we have enough forwards. As someone else mentioned, Fonua would suit our existing play - rather than Cronullafy someone with flair from a club with an attacking mindset.

I like Ricky, but 2 tries in 20 games is bad for a centre. Mind you, none of our attacking players have exactly set the world on fire, so who knows. Ricky was unlucky in 2013 for individual reasons and this season because his team sucked.

At any rate, he played for our NSW cup on occasion, so there's a connection there. Can anyone really say Fonua is worse than Wright, or Ayshford?

1. Holmes
2. Flash
3. Feki
4. Fonua
5. Gagan

Looks good to me, but what do I know?

Posted it last page that Gagai is being chased by the Broncos, don't know how they would manage to fit him on the cap.
That's a signing Cronulla should be all over!
