I don't think he would have added all that much. He is a pretty good finisher but that's about it. Most of his tries are ones Feki/Gagan would score anyway if they were given the same opportunity.

You need to separate the **** of a bloke Boyd is (or appears to be) from his football ability.

Better than good footballer but the fact is a lot of those tries he has scored were on the end of a bunch of great players inside him like Lockyer, Thurston, Inglis & Slater, yeh he finished them off but a lot of wingers could have finished off more than half of those tries her has scored, kudos to him for being in the right place at the right time, in more ways than one.

Hey Snowy, I know I might have been a bit over the top with the Cov could have scored all of Boyd's try scoring opportunities in Origin.
But do you really feel he it a top shelf player?
If so , out of all the all time incredibly talented Qld Origin Wingers , where in the top 20 would he sit? (NOT based on Try Scoring Stats)

eg compared to Hancock , Boustead , Sailor , Matt Rogers , Tuqiri all in their prime etc

I'd rate Boyd equal to Dale Shearer at best and definitely less talented than every player mentioned
