Why wouldn't he go to the roosters? They played Mortimer off the bench. If Robinson has told him that the halves will be picked on merit, then he can back himself. For a young half it may be a better option than going to a club that will heavily depend on him for success.

James Maloney is off contract end of 2015 - although unlikely - its not completely implausible that Pearce shifts to 5/8 and Renyolds plays as 7.
