According to this article;No idea. Go and google third party agreements. There’s a table from 2018 released by the NRL and another article from last year. It’s not a level playing field.
Last year they were in the top few clubs for TPAAccording to this article;

Roosters only paid 69K in TPA in 2019 and we paid 212K.
Tend to agree, I don't see the fuss.Dom young is overrated, let the roosters spend their money on him - he’s not that great, I’d take Katoa and Ronaldo over him any day
he's 21, 6'7 and real quickTend to agree, I don't see the fuss.
That was arm's length deals only.According to this article;

In 2019 the Roosters recorded only $69,000 in third-party agreements but stars such as Cronk and James Tedesco benefited from whole game sponsorships not included in the team-by-team breakdown.
He doesn't seem overly athletic to me, I think you can be too tall sometimes.he's 21, 6'7 and real quick
he'll be one of the better wingers in the game soon
Betchya Ronnie still leaps over himhe's 21, 6'7 and real quick

When you are that tall usually you have problems defensing short and quick guys. He will dominate the air balls though…he's 21, 6'7 and real quick

Yeah but not many people employing wingers for their defence anyway. I don't think there is enough of an issue here to not sign him if you like the rest of his game.When you are that tall usually you have problems defensing short and quick guys. He will dominate the air balls though…
Interceptions… i think that may be the real danger. His height will help him there.Yeah but not many people employing wingers for their defence anyway. I don't think there is enough of an issue here to not sign him if you like the rest of his game.
Would struggle to stop an unexpected dive for the line in his corner from hooker.
Ways his size can be an advantage in D too. He's big enough to be kind of hard to barge through. Long arms make it easier to try make a play at ball or get contact to shove a player out when they dive etc Obviously can defend kicks well.

Stonestreet is the one. Didn't play many minutes on the weekend but he looked very sharp and has good size.I would love us to keep Katoa, but if someone else is willing to offer him silly money then I would definitely give him a rousing and respectful send off, wishing him the best. I love Katoa and hope he stays but we don’t need to get in a bidding war with desperate clubs for him. We’ve still got Ikuvalu on the books (a candidate for a new lower value deal for a player that is a proven solid first grader, which would help our cap management) also guys like Stonestreet, Taukamo and Rodwell who are chomping at the bit for an opportunity and will probably be ready for first grade by next season.
We also need to be realistic as to what we have in our squad and what we need to win a comp. If we need to make space for another star prop or fullback, that cash would have to come from somewhere, and one easy spot would be by getting cheap young guns into the lineup in Iro and Stonestreet.I would love us to keep Katoa, but if someone else is willing to offer him silly money then I would definitely give him a rousing and respectful send off, wishing him the best.
