You know strangely enough I can picture Des as a somewhat successful NSW Origin Coach. I don’t know why but there’s something about him that makes me have a hunch that he’d be alright at the job. Very strange hunch I can’t really explain it.

Does anyone else feel that way or is it just me?

Agree. He'd have them running through brick walls.

We should be putting a huge offer together for Big Nelson. For me he is one of two missing links our squad needs. The second being a gun fullback.

And we should also being having a crack to get RTS here. Surely fitz could get this across the line.

Brodie Croft —> SEVEN year extension in ESL.

Wow... Well done, Brodie.
It'd be a tough call to make not to come back and 'prove yourself'.

I reckon some guys are just suited to the English game. Miller would be a Man of Steel if he went over, as would our Toby... David Fafita, definitely.

completely agree with this. I also think it would be a good development pathway for some players. Kyle Flanagan, even quy like Trindall. be the starting half for a couple years, build confidence. If you like it there stay, otherwise come back full of confidence.

There are some good opportunities over there but they are not unlimited. Many will be as good or better off staying as half 3 in a full time NRL contract playing Cup most weeks than going to England to develop.

Not like Croft was **** for a good team here, his last season Broncos finishes last and he is not solely to blame for that.

Speed seems to be king over there too - look at great success of Field and French.

I don't hear of many young Aussies going over for a crack at a top grade gig.
We might do in the future as we get more first grade standard players and spots for highly touted up and comers get rarer.

If you're a good young half in Australia atm you'll likely get a chance at some stage.

Yeah where you got to wonder if you are better of being 3rd choice and waiting for an injury or first choice and playing week in and week out.

Hope he’s alright.
Yeah, not too sure the legitimacy, I haven't seen any confirmation
But I enjoy watching Angus play so would be a shame if he is out for an extended period.
Whether short period or long period though hopefully he gets on top of everything and is all good.
