How does it push his development back two years? You think by the end of the injury he will be worse than he was by the start of last year?

Players come back from ACL all the time. With good rehab and recovery can pick basically where he left off but potentially with a bit more physical maturity to go with it

12 months out injured. Plus another year in nsw cup after that developing to become an nrl standard fullback.

Since been reported it's all good and he's happy to stay but could be a good target for someone if they found they were suddenly very thin in the halves

Des has come out and said he still has a desire to be a head coach. Want to win a third premiership. Titans, Knights and St George are the only clubs he’ll likely get a shot at imo. Maybe Brisbane but think they’ll want a Qlder to coach them if Walters doesn’t work out.

I could see him at the dragons. They won't perform under him but he will think he can turn them around.
Left feild but what about Parra if BA gets the sack. I think if they don't perform this year, they will part ways. Des would do good over there I think.

Bloke just made a gf, I think he’s 2 years now from potentially being on the chopping block. Plus I’m pretty sure they’re about to extend him another year on top of his current deal.

Obviously to play halves but does he make our NSW cup side ?

I'm hoping Trindall plays full time 7 for the Jets, then you have that Penrith bloke, unless he's eligible for Flegg. And the Atkinson bloke.

Turns 21 tomorrow so still eligible this year right?

Keep in mind good chance a spine player is 18th man each week unless Fitz wants to use forwards there.

But no point worrying about this bloke atm, they’ve said he’s staying and we don’t need him so we won’t fight for him

You know strangely enough I can picture Des as a somewhat successful NSW Origin Coach. I don’t know why but there’s something about him that makes me have a hunch that he’d be alright at the job. Very strange hunch I can’t really explain it.

Does anyone else feel that way or is it just me?
