Please no to jono on the wing. I'd rather stapo there..

When he was playing wing for the doggies he was ok,

He had a massive leap and was catching bombs in the opponents in goal to score, if he can do that here I will be happy

In saying that he had a tendency to come in off his wing in defense and leave a massive gap, hopefully we can train that out of him,

We can't have that on both sides of the field coz beau likes to do it also, but I hope Beau did it because he had no faith in his centre (poms)

I've got no problems with jono on the wing, much safer than feki. Aslong as ricky is in the centres.

He wasn't great but to be fair he was never given the ball with room to move, always when he had nowhere to go. Agree with what GWS said, he is very good in the air but we never exploited it. Our kicking when attacking inside 40m leaves a lot to be desired imo.

In saying all of that I'd rather Feki on the wing.

Jono can be solid on the wing, especially with a good centre (see bulldogs) so I've got no problem with him being on the wing with Leutele inside him.

Yeah it sucks for Feki as he had an alright debut season, but geeze the guy didn't do anything in the trial, and with the Sharks actually having a bit of competition for outside backs you think he'd try to get a little more involved.

In your head, rent free
depends what we are wanting, i hate having johno on the wing for kick returns, but he is a safer option than feki. feki struggled under the high ball.

Jono did start last year on the wing with Leutele as his centre and that's when jono sucked

Yeah I know, but I didn't mind him on the win during the early rounds.

Everyone's main complaint about him was that whenever he got the ball from a backline movement he would run infield. Didn't think it was fair to bash him for it as it looked planned, whoever Jono got the ball Carney or Robson would point to a spot in the defensive line in field and Jono would run to it and get tackled there abouts.

Plus he's safer than Feki under the high ball and his positional play for kicks was solid. Only negative was his crappy kick returns, however, towards the end of 2013 Jono was playing more aggressive and started running the ball hard (His try against Manly in the finals is an example of this) so if he can play like that from round one, he could make a pretty decent winger.

this i never understood regarding Pom. in his earlier seasons he played left side and had a good draw and pass and a fair left foot step. his change from the left to right coincided with him turning even worse.

Jono is the same. He played better in the centres, but i dont think if Leutele is first choice we MUST find a spot in the 17. save the number 2 for Feki, Brown etc.

Yes it was fair - there were a few times he had ample room to run down the sideline, but must've seen spiders on the chalk. He doesn't back himself enough in those situations, making him a useless attacking winger.

We are ok for centres but we could really do with a flash winger.

l like either of the backlines but we might be better of going to Fiji and picking up a porter that can run like pennies did. Big no to Jono, defence was woeful on the wing for doggies and timid kick returns with us.Still think Feki would make a good centre, has pace and can only improve with more nrl exposure.

I'd still love to see

1. Gardner
2. Ryan
3. Gordon
4. Leutele
5. Feki

or

1. Gardner
2. Gordon
3. Leutele
4. Feki/Ayshford
5. Ryan

I know it won't happen but we need more attacking flair.

I agree we need the attack but l don't know if l could go thru the heart attacks with Gardner everytime a bomb went his way. Wing/ fullback we can't hide him. If he does come up l hope he has improved that part of his game ten fold

You won't see feki playing in the centres. Not unless we get hit by injuries.
